Casa Oblícua is born from a clear gesture: a diagonal that cuts through the sky and shapes an essential dwelling, integrated into the landscape of northern Mallorca.
Located in a privileged position, the house offers panoramic views of two distinct bays and blends into its surroundings through pure lines, honest materials, and radical formal simplicity.
Its clean, powerful volume is accentuated by a diagonally sloping roof, which defines the project's identity and creates a constant visual tension between the structure and the sky. The wide glass planes eliminate boundaries, allowing light and nature to actively participate in the interior experience.
The combination of natural stone, anodized finishes, warm floors, and neutral furnishings reflects the architect’s essential design philosophy: beauty in absence, emptiness, harmony with nature.
The house features two elegantly integrated pools: an outdoor one with open views of the landscape, and an elevated one, partially visible from the interior through an underwater window that transforms the water into a living installation. Oblique House doesn't aim to impress, but rather to endure. An architecture that doesn't draw attention, but isn't forgotten.
